As I said below, someone is going to kick the shit out of him and get suspended. He should get a one game suspension minimum.

Hahaha if the guy that admitted to elbowing him in the face and threw 3 punches didn't get a single game suspension then Allen should not get a game either. If he does get a suspension then that dirty L'Ville should be suspended 5 games.

This argument is comparing apples to oranges. It's one thing to have a 1 emotional blowup in reaction to another player's actions.

It's a whole other issue with a player that has a trend of dirty, non-basketball plays on the court.

The Dook argument for this is great. "He gets fouled a lot and the refs don't call it so who cares if he retaliates." He averaged nearly 7 free throws a game, and initiates the contact 95 percent of the time, great argument.

So then Allen should be allowed to go on tripping players with impunity? More grade school logic from the resident Duke taint lover.

Halftime scores up

P.S. Allen is a punk. If you got a problem, be a man.

“He wanted to keep playing physical,” Allen said, according to the Fayetteville Observer. “So I tried to walk away from it as he was grabbing me. We ended up tangling up and falling.”

“Whatever someone is dishing out to me inside the game, inside the rules of the game, I’m going to give it right back,” he added to the Raleigh News & Observer.

What a turd. In his mind he truly believes he did nothing wrong.

Word is if/when he gets proper punishment for the tripping he will then move on to either eye poking or dick slapping. Hasn't made up his mind yet.

Already tried the dick slapping. Did it to Lee on a break-away layup in our last game with them.

Since they never call a foul on Duke, it's within the rules of the specialized Duke referee handbook

Believe it or not they did set a record. Over the past 6 seasons Duke is one of only two P5 teams to have 2 players play entire game with 0 fouls (2/25/16). Other is UCLA (2/14/15).

Duke should be embarrassed. I type this in complete seriousness as a fan of a program that probably engaged strippers to help recruiting.

You're really missing the point of retaliation vs two incidents in two weeks that he blatantly made an unsportsmanlike play to start shit/hurt someone. This wasn't as big of a deal from the UofL fans when it was JJ. Shit happens. Shit doesn't happen twice in two weeks unless you're a punk bitch that wants to be the next hated dookie.

He also attempted this versus Clemson, and undercut a Wake Forest guy going up for a dunk. Dude is an asshole.

You know what that term is? It's a fallacy. Which is all you've been doing. It's basically the "they do it too" defense. Which is bullshit. Theres no other college bball player getting the coverage for being a petty POS that Allen is. good thing you didn't use Newton this week, J/Ballers. Only rationale would've been as a potential bounce-back performance as he's been meh as of late, but still.

13 points from Barber not being destroyed - especially when he scored 32 earlier in the week. As I see it I am further behind in points & rebounds than you are in assists and defense. If it stays the way it is, it likely comes down to free throws - which does not bode well for the Guardians (especially with Devin Thomas on Sunday night).

That said, I will be at the WF-VT game to cheer for the Hokies and, unfortunately, against Devin Thomas. At least it is basketball - I do not think I could do fantasy college football simply due to the conflict between fantasy and real life.

I saw that, Barber did only have 7 pts until 5 min left in the game and went over 20 min game time without scoring

RE: Round 2 Results
Dragons- hothot should be pretty close.

hothot will concede points, and Dragons Defense (Artis' highest Defense game this season is 2, though he did amass 4 DEF in two separate games last season, vs. St. Bonny and vs. Bryant). I'd say Dragons have a 90% chance of winning Assists (Artis has recorded 1+ assists in all but 2 games this season), and similar for hothot winning Rebounds (Artis' career high = 11, vs. Cuse last week).

But...all Artis needs to do is score 3 points, make 2-2 FTs and grab 1 assist to put this one away. Best case scenario for the Dragons is Artis to turn his ankle after that. If he misses just 1 FT today vs. Duke, Artis has to finish 7-of-8 or better to win FT%. (My math may be way off).

Guardian look like they are in trouble. Points and rebounds way behind. Close in D and FT%, but Devin Thomas will likely bring my FT% even lower.

I am worried about pts...Ingram gonna score 30 at this rate and Robinson might get 20, while Plumlee has 3 reb and nothing else

Good News/Bad News for the Dragons.

GOOD: Artis has 1 assist and points
BAD: 1-3 FTs in the first half

Artis will need a career high 12 REB or 4 DEF for Dragons to win via tiebreaker; 13+ REB/5 DEF to win 3-2 outright.

Looked up Artis' FT stats. He's only missed 2 FTs in a game four times this season. Tough break.
