No longer live in Charlottesville but I hope they get something lol

Virginia is 74-4 when scoring at least 70 points under Tony Bennett

RE: Round 1 Results
The commentators of last night's game were pretty insistent that Virgina had the best defense in the ACC. They're either writing off Louisville because our season is over, or they've never heard of defensive efficiency.

You guys can have the best defense. I'll take the 16 point win at the Yum Center Smile

I've been a little bummed by the slump of Eli Carter, so I checked out BC's schedule to see if it's just a result of the opponent. Their last 5 games have been against top 30 KenPom teams, and their last 12 games have been against teams currently projected to make the NCAA tournament. #OnlyInTheACC

LOL at this entire flucking conference season. Jamie Dixon has gone full-on Roy Williams. Chris Jones with 8 shot attempts a game after they let James Robinson jack up 19 field goal attempts? Someone needs to explain to me what Michael Young did to lose his starting job, much less become option 4 on the offensive end.

Points and FT% is probably done for me. Hoping for rebounds, assists, and D. Crawford is doing his part on those fronts.

Bonus basketball for Crawford and Young, with which Young promptly uses to goose his stat line. I'll take it.

Without a doubt. If Dixon hadn't built up a decade of goodwill in PA, I think the Steeltown would have run him out on a rail this year.

Disagree... I have plenty of time for Beasley to continue shitting the bed down the stretch and Roberson crushing my dreams in the FT category. Even with these scoring nights from Crawford and Young, there's basically no way I'm beating you in points. I HAVE to win rebounds, assists, and D. Just praying Grayson Allen and Marcus Paige don't decide to go CP3 this week.

My team has won maybe rebounding once all this season. Defense is looking great for you, and I don't have much faith in assists. Fuck the season hopefully Grayson goes 2-12, and Carolina blows them out. Need Joel Berry to have a good game

20/6/6/5 for Crawford. I'm not sure whether to be more excited or embarrassed that he decided to go Kemba Walker tonight.

If James Robinson is a fantasy stud, ACC basketball went full retard.

This is what James Robinson does. He'll have 1 of every 5 games where he absolutely fills up the box score - usually the result of a horrible opponent *cough*wakeforest*cough*. Then the other 4 are turds sprinkled in with some nice assist or free throw numbers. On the season, his averages look impressive, but he's only a real difference maker every 2nd or 3rd week.

edit: The one area I have to give Robinson a lot of credit - there are very few players in the ACC I'd rather have at the free throw line with the game on the line. That guy has been clutch for 4 years at closing out teams from the stripe.

RE: Round 1 Results
I've learned my lesson with guys like Bryant Crawford and Joel Berry. Players can play, no matter who else is on the roster. I held onto Derryck Frickin' Thornton instead of picking up Berry or Crawford on waivers because I assumed both of them would take a major slump when Paige and CMM returned.

Devin Thomas stats missing from the Guardians. James Robinson's 22-10-9-3 is making up for Abu's horrible game.

Yeah but Abu's horrible game is expected against UVA. We're not going to let bigs beat us.

You NEVER expect a game like that from Robinson. Just shows that the fantasy gods are on your side.

After the early FT shooting performances and scoring no-shows from Rowan and Roberson, my only shot is now rebounds/assists/D.

Man, I never would have guessed Dennis Clifford would go off against the great defensive frontcourt of Clemson. I talked myef out of playing Clifford both games this week. Hope it doesn't bite me.
