Seems off. We've only played 10 weeks yet our records add up to at least 55 (which would be 11 weeks).

I think the excel sheet that J has posted in the Week 10 results has our current records.

Week 10 looks like J already changed to reflect final wins and losses. Appreciate the effort to cover me, though.

Interesting development for the playoffs. While the top 2 teams are in the Atlantic, the next 4 competitors now represent the Coastal. My squad is flailing right now, but the Guardians are a frightening team for any would-be playoff seed. We're definitely held down by the dregs of our division, but I don't think any Atlantic team should keep eyes solely focused on their division mates for purposes of tourney scouting.

Are you sure these are correct? It says I am 32-24 (total of 56 games). How can that be possible if we've only played 10 weeks (which would be 50 games)? I only have one sweep.

All the records are off it seems. I have my record as 36-15, Freeballers at 37-14, and Mauraders at 23-25. The records on the Week 10 scoreboard seem accurate. Not sure how yours is off by a few games for everyone.

Standings updated through week 11. I have added a "wild card" standings beginning this week to monitor the jockeying for the final playoff spot as we come down the home stretch.

Yes. All teams behind the 6th-place Fugs can bump their ranking up by one for tourney seeding purposes.

I'd hate to play the guardians more than anyone. Even though their record doesn't reflect it, they're dangerous. I have wins over the Empire, Cats, and Fugly's. 3, 4, and 6 in the standings. Guardians would be my favorite to win it all right now. They're so good in every department that they can have an off week and advance. I pretty much have to win rebounds, assists and FT or I can't beat 85% of the teams. I think they can win in a greater number of ways.

Agreed. They blew my doors off. Not that my team has been playing great, but the Guardians are just sick if Roper and Robinson are going to throw up 20 assists a week and Abu and Ingram combine for a 80/35/7/3. THIS all in support of Brice Johnson's stupid numbers in the last month.

Very similar to the shooters last year. Developed into a team that could beat you wherever they need to. Of course that doesn't always translate to a single elimination tournament.

And any team can beat me by winning just 2 of the counting categories. It is highly unlikely I win the FT percentage on any given week. At the same time, with FT% being so fluky, one bad week for a couple players at the line for my opponent and it is a coin flip.

Definitely learned that I'm never considering FT% when drafting unless the guy is just horrible. I went from 90% down to 72% the next week. Guess law of averages applies.

Through 6 games my team was looking at a CEBE single week record. I finished the week middle of the pack. FT% is the bane of my existence and anyone who tells you they can properly and consistently account for it are full of shit. Next year I'm punting FT's and trying to win the other 4 categories every week.

My preseason rankings had 1) Tarheels 2) Dean 3) HotHot for FT%. At least the first two have held true. I've been high on the Tarheels all season because of their ability to dominate the free throw category pretty much every week. For HotHot, Brogdon and Lee should single handedly have him in the top half of the rankings, but all it takes is Charles Mitchell dropping his average by 10% on 4 attempts per game to fuck up the whole team. Terry Henderson is another guy that would have boosted his free throw %. It's a tough category to draft on, but I have a proper and consistent way to quantify it even if you disagree.

I agree. I've never taken FT% into consideration, not that is good demonstration of your plan, but you never know. I was leading the league this week going into Sunday. I'll probably be around 74% next week. There are just few guys that are consistent in trips and percentage to accurately predict it. I have only ever tried to stay away from guys that get fouled a lot and aren't good shooters. Devin Thomas probably cost me FT's as much as he won rebounds for me last year. One week he might go 5/6 and the next 5/10.

It's just a really random stat with a huge amount of variation. When Mike Young (who was 85% on the season) goes through a 3 game stretch of 62% on 7 attempts per game, it's really going to fuck the whole team.

But is it really that much different than a player like Onuaku going through a stretch where he averages 2.5 rebounds per game? Both are huge deviations from the norm and can cost your team the category. I'm completely torn on the FT category every draft, but it can really make or break a team if players stay relatively close to their previous season average.

How many times has Onuaku done that this season? Did he go 3 straight weeks shitting the bed like Young has done in free throws?

I think it's only different in the way that a FT shooter can actually drag you down where a rebounder can just not contribute. He's never going to undo what the other players are doing.

I've been getting relatively low attempts. If I had one guy that was going 5/10, it would wreck all of my 3/4, 2/2's, etc.
