Michigan State V. Kansas should be a good one. Don't much about either current teams.

Have you noticed that when they interview coaches they don't put a stat bar with career wins or last seasons record or last years postseason or current record and rank. All 4 coaches in the CC tonight have had a bar showing their last season and upcoming seasons recruiting class rank. I'll keep my theories to myself.

I saw that. Florida losing Donovan has given FSU and Miami a boost in recruiting this season. It should change back going forward.

UNC playing @ Northern Iowa. I always think the Heels are upset prone but this one just smells like a loss.

How does Meeks have 8 & 6 before halftime and not see the ball in the 2nd half?

Wasn't this a problem last year? Seems like you and J had the same complaints. I don't watch UNC enough but it seems like Roy makes switches that don't make sense and often times benches his hot hand.

I have my own pondering. I read nothing but good about Hicks and even had insight from UNC insiders saying that he may start or play starter minutes. He played very good in scrimmages, practices in exhibitions and then just has drifted down to nothing in the past week and a half.

RE: Non-Louisville College Hoops
I'm convinced Roy's substitution patterns are done completely at random, with no regard to who is playing well

So the top 3 teams in the ACC all have a loss now, and they were all ugly. Miami with another chance to prove they belong among the conference elite with a matchup against #22 Butler today

Checked out the UNC boards. Even their fans seem to be in near unanimous agreement that Roy has lost it and has no clue what he's doing with rotations or strategy.

Is it honestly a possibility that he scripts substitutions to keep fresh bodies?

Considering he lost to UNI, that would be patently stupid. At some point you have to abandon that philosophy, even if it is the plan, in the name of getting a W.

Doubt you guys would rant to see it but I have a whole rant I put on a UNC board while I was pissed lol. He had a preferred walkon playing in the last 2 minutes. His rotations might have cost the game. UNC tied the game back up, they were torching us from 3, and Roy decides to go zone of all things. The pure stupidity just blows my mind

So far in the early season, Miami has easily been the most impressive team to me by far. Larranaga has a roster with an average age of around 22, he may be onto the idea of using grown men who should be in Europe over young college kids

Yeah, his team is DEEP and (for now) there are no signs of ego coming into play. Still waiting for Rodriguez to lose his shit just like he did last year. If a cancer is going to develop, he seems like the guy to cause it.

Larranga is an easy coach to like. Or maybe it's because Jekiri reminds me of Gorgui Sad

OK, I know why Roy and the UNC fans get frustrated with Meeks. This may be the laziest elite college player I've ever seen. He would have a double-double in this game if he worked even a bit.

Miami follows up back to back wins over top 25 teams with a loss to Northeastern. Not sure if that's a hangover or if they forgot to get out of bed

Terrible showing by the ACC tonight. Cards lose, Syracuse down late in OT, and Boston College doing BC things.

Did the ACC coaches all get together and do a massive parlay fix of these games? Every team I flip to looks like shit.

Maybe. I don't think Iowa and Illinois are world-beaters.

What's really sad is our best showings may have been in losses (Pitt v. Purdue, us v. Michigan State).
