I took each team's first 6 draft picks and compiled the stats for each player based on last years performances. Upon adding these together, you get a look at what your team would have scored last year in 6 games. Granted this is nowhere close to what to expect for this year due to several changes, it is still neat to look at IMO. The score category is based on the numbers for each individual category. For points... take your teams total points and divide by the average points scored per 10 man team in the league, then add this to the score number for rebounds, assists, and defense.

***First attempt at preseason analysis***

***Numbers for transfers and freshmen shown, really just complete guesses***

I did roughly that same thing for everyones team but my numbers are slightly off for myself and whatever team took seth allen in the coastal. Did you put stats in for seth allen or leave him at zeros across the board, just curious (This is probably why my numbers are different)

My team is absolute trash by this metric lol. Have a bunch of guys who I hope are breakout stars. Risk is there though

On my spreadsheet, these are the totals I have for my team from last years stats.
70/32.2/13.1/7.5/72.60%

I only did it for your 6 starters...

I don't really draft based on last year's stats, so not surprised to see my team look a little poopy.

Side note, I'd expect Seth Allen to put up something like 14/2/3/1

Yeah I'm talking about my starters. Maybe I fudged the numbers but I'll screenshot.

Well another analysis that points to my team being bad. I hope all these are wrong.

This data doesn't show your team being bad. Are you just looking to throw a pity party today or something?

Isn't it showing me as only having 4 teams lower than mine? That isn't last but it isn't great.

So if you took more picks that went earlier in the other draft....couldn't that just mean the other draft wasn't smart. I would think having a # closer to 0 shows your picks were safer and the further away from zero means you took more risks or the other draft did.

Edit: wrong thread

The one above was current players based on last years stats. If that stays the same I am in trouble. We all know things change lots every year in basketball.
