Anyone else have any thoughts on Johnny Hamilton. I didn't know about him until J-Rye took Clifford right out from under me and I started looking at all the big guys.

Not really sure... It said a thumb injury back in September, so I'm assuming he will be alright by then.

I was really considering Bibbs, I think that may be a good pick up Harv.

Everyone can open the roster I posted two weeks ago, right?

I know what it says, I contemplated drafting him last round. Just surprised the team lists him that way and Lee as just a G. Not a shot at you, calm down

RE: Draft Comment Thread
This is the 5th time this draft I've heard complaints about positions. I got a PM asking if I could change someone's position prior to a pick. If there's an issue with the positions listed on the roster, I'll be more than happy to change it prior to the draft if it makes sense.

It sounds like my definition of a forward isn't nearly as loose as most. In the case of Damion Lee and Malachi Richardson, playing the 3 spot does not imply the player is a forward. I wouldn't consider Kyle Kuric a forward, and he played the 4 spot for UofL.

Just read Lee's bio and ran across this:

My bad, didn't mean to frustrate you. I know nothing can be changed once the draft started and had no intention of requesting such. I was just surprised and was commenting on the draft comment thread.

BTW, thanks for putting the draft roster together J-Rye. I'm guessing it probably took some work to get it done.

I think you might have mis-read or interpreted my comments. I was only curious as to how players were designated a postion. In my example I used no names or teams and never asked or even thought to ask for anything. I may not have worded my comment the best, I just wanted to get a feel for how the roster was put together and that was it.

RE: Draft Comment Thread
Here's how the player positions were determined ...

If he's a guard, I made sure he has guard eligibility
If he's a forward, I made sure he has forward eligibility
If he's a center, I made sure he has center eligibility

Anyone with more than 1 position listed is because the official site listed them that way, or I added it based on their build and style of play. Playing the 3 spot is not an indicator that a player is a forward. I added center eligibility to anyone who plays the 5 spot, because some teams don't list anyone as a center.

I knew he was ranked high defensively but 2nd? His offense is obviously what caused him to be drafted so low and his questionable playing time

I probably had them way too high for a 7th Round pick but I figured they'd go in the 8th or 9th before my turn(s).

I'm happy to say I got exactly who I wanted out of my final four picks, but I'm not sure if I wanted what I needed. Smile

Sterling Smith could be a great pickup. He could end up starting for them. He was a quality AAC player two years ago I believe. SMU I think.
