Not sure if Carter can be the same player he was. After he broke his leg he has never been close to the same player.

I'm wondering what the rest of you all think about that pick. Should have I waited or was he on others radar?

He was on my radar. I expect him to lead the dukies in scoring, even with Ingram there.

Hard to say. He only got 9 minutes a game last year so it's a complete mystery what you'll get this year.

Nice pick, CAD. You stole Blossomgame right from under my nose. I could smell him. Smile

He's injured right now. Had foot surgery three months ago and I'm a little nervous about it. Though on the plus side some Pitt fans are conjecturing that his weak play down the stretch was due to the injury and being worn out. He could come back better than ever or as half the player. Confused

I like the Lewis gamble. Hard to say how long he would have lasted.

I had him too but Blackshear blinded me to all things but rage.

Whoa, whoa, whoa ... so Trey Lewis is a good gamble but Eli Carter isn't? Guess we know who's playing favorites here

Don't know if this makes you feel any better or not, but he was 1 of the 3 on my list for this round. You're playing this whole "new guy at the poker table" cliche, while quietly putting together arguably the best team up to this point. Touche

It was between him and Robinson for me. I went back and forth many times but ultimately didn't want to take an all-Miami backcourt. Rodriguez might get much more PT this year because they lost all those transfers.

Have to have a little fun with it. And sometime it's questionable being late in the rotation. Later rounds seem to be where it gets tougher to get guys who will either be sleepers or make big jumps from last year. This is much more interesting to me than fantasy football.

That fantrax league we tried last year has helped me a little

I see McClellan trying to run the show a lot this year.

I was back and forth between Angel and Robinson as well. Nothing I saw on either one of them really peaked my interest. Robinson seems to timid and Angel seems to be too emotionally involved to contribute on a consistent basis.

Robinson leading the ACC in Assists and FT% didn't peak the interest? Big Grin He was no slouch on the boards either. Defense was respectable for a guard but not great. I'm surprised he even got 9ppg though. He's not a good shooter at all. Needs to penetrate much, much more.

If he can stay healthy he should produce some solid stats, especially playing the center position in that 2-3 Zone.

Gill's a great pick right now. Solid at either position but a guaranteed producer at Center. He was on my short list with Robinson and Rodriguez. I love hoarding good big men. Big Grin Especially multi-positional ones.

If Coleman's healthy he's a double double threat every night - as much as any player in the league. That free throw % scared me off though. Hell, he's had 2 years with nothing to work on but shooting form, so he could be a lot better there.

I thought he had NO chance of making it back to me. This makes me feel a lot better about reaching a round or two early for Carter, because Gill was my other option with my 3rd pick
