I won't be on again until lunch since I am teaching today. Just FYI so no one waits on me.

Gotta feel good getting Brogdon this late in the draft.

I was surprised, but I will take it. Had to make sure something wasn't going on with him, since he fell. He's on some preseason all American lists, but I guess that doesn't always translate to fantasy value.

My final two were McClellan and Brogdon. I forget what broke the tie.

On Damion Lee, I was also surprised he wasn't G/F on the roster. Will he not be playing the 3 this year?

RE: Draft Comment Thread
Yes, Pitino said Lee will be playing the 2 and 3 spot this year, but UofL has him listed as a guard. If UofL had him listed as a forward, I would have made him a G/F, because he is a guard. Deng Adel will also play the 3 spot this year. He plays like a guard, but UofL has him listed as a forward - so he earned the G/F tag. In Pitino's system, the 3 spot is played by a perimeter oriented player (aka: guard).

I hope you know there is more than 1 owner who is upset with you right now. It's like you just drafted Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady in the first two rounds. Dick move

My five best on the board were Brogdon, Barber, Young, Jekiri and Artis. Since Brogdon and Barber were gone, Young was the best Center and I didn't want two Pitt players (roster is a bit shaky on who is going to get PT), I took both. Anyone want to trade (yes I am trolling now)?

If its any consolation I made my picks on my phone without my spreadsheet. After looking at my sheet my 6th best was Georges Hunt (who's the dick now Smile) and 7th was Montay Brandon. Since Montay Brandon will be gone before I pick next I included him in this response.

One of the best reasons not to do such an asshole thing is just maybe one of those guys gets overlooked. The chance may be slim but it's happened before that someone I thought had no chance of getting back to me actually did.

RE: Draft Comment Thread
Naming players seems to be a "tactical" move in my opinion... If you don't want the people that really know what they are doing to get the good players, expose them! So the people with less research can pick them up.

There are 14 picks before me so I should give this a try after each of my pick ups.

In all seriousness, I really hope no more names are thrown out... especially in the next few rounds where it is less obvious where the hidden talent lies.

So Dean, on a scale of 1-10, how pissed would you have been if the Pirates took Artis? Big Grin

I think you meant to say,

J-Rye, how pissed are you that Dean took Artis?

Dean is smart enough to pick him up regardless, but the fact he slipped 20 picks then gets drafted right after Nick brings him up is irritating.

You'd be wrong.

I thought Auguste was 3rd round pick, I was wrong. I've been wrong on a lot of guys I thought should get picked. I thought Artis was easily a first round talent based on last year's stats. I struggled to pass him with my 2nd pick, but I have my reasons.

I thought I could definitely get Carter later. Coming from a Gator he will be a complete wildcard this season. Should put up lots of shots for the bottom dweller BC.

Yeah I reached a bit on Auguste. I just have this strange Harangody/Cooley vibe going on. If he's matured he can do big things.

Dude has been around the block. He'll be on a worse team than that Rutgers squad, so I expect him to match those stats at a minimum.
