PreDraft Check
Can somebody please try and go into the wrong Draft Forum(i.e. Atlantic coach into the Coastal Forum) and make sure it's working properly?

RE: Division Forum Check
Also, I'm going to need a Coastal coach to run the Coastal Draft. I'll make the excel template and give it to you, all you have to do is update it and post it every day or two.

Any takers? EL? DHC? Those moderator tags ain't just for show boys. lol

I'd do it but I'm in the Atlantic. DHC just uses the moderator tag to change people's title.

Thanks.

Everyone's name should have their proper Division underneath it now.

RE: Division Forum Check
Here are the Draft templates for each Division. J, you don't have to use it if you've already got one made up and it's prettier.

To whomever is doing the Coastal Draft: Your template is also attached to this post. You're going to have to start your own "Season 8 CEBE Draft" thread(and sticky it) so that you can keep editing it throughout the Draft. Just copy and paste the shit from the Season 7 Draft thread and change whatever you need to. Good luck and smooth drafting. Confused

Got it. There we go. I can easily update this at least once a day. I'll throw in some color on the update, and make it look nicer.

I have no fucking idea what you're talking about. I didn't change your user title. And if I had, it still wouldn't be remotely relevant to what was going on this thread. You just another attempt by you to get a childish dig in because you're butt hurt about something that I didn't even do. I get it. Teenage angst is a bitch.

Inside Carolina forum so there was a lot of UNC homerism in the draft. I'm pissed because I gambled and didn't take Eli Carter with my fifth pick thinking he would be there sixth round. He was taken one pick before me, only blemish on my team this draft.

Your rebounding and blocks might be a little weak if Colson doesn't breakout this season. Otherwise, your team looks pretty solid.

RE: PreDraft Check
Any team with Devin Thomas at Center and Gbinije playing guard will not be short on rebounds. Considering it's free throws made - and not FT% - Thomas and Gbinije are probably both top 3 players. How many guys were drafting? If it's any more than 6, your team will go in dry against the majority of the league.

8 teams
My biggest competition is probably going to be this guy who has
G-Demetrius Jackson
G/F-Montay Brandon
F-Jaron Blossomgame
F/C Tonye Jekiri
Flex Abdul Malik Abu
Flex Eli Carter

His bench is nearly unplayable though

Going by the scoring it looks like you just need a team full of defenders and rebounders. Two steals and two blocks = 20pts?

RE: PreDraft Check
You know the scoring system is flawed when Trevor Cooney would be a statistical stud. Among returning players, 2nd in made 3's and 3rd in steals. Never mind his horrific shooting % from downtown. This got me thinking about which CEBE players are highly overrated by our scoring system.

RE: PreDraft Check
I think the way we do things values 5-tool players with no additional emphasis placed on any particular category. Guys like T-Will and Gbinije will always fare well in our format, which I think properly reflects an individual's contributions. If we're speaking of overrated relative to their impact on the W/L column, then a guy like Eli Carter is overrated because he's the only thing BC has going for them (aka a stat-stuffer only from high use).

I'm thinking along the lines of guys that turn it over a lot and shoot a very low % from the floor are going to be overrated relative to their actual on-court value. Eli Carter defeinitely fits the mold of high volume low %. Angel Rodriguez also comes to mind.

Angel is a good one. Terry Rozier might be a lesser example. His percentages/TOVs weren't as bad as Angel's, but his limitations on the whole impacted Louisville significantly more than his CEBE team(s).

Rozier had a really high PER as a guard because of his rebounding, steals, and ability to get to the stripe. FG% was mediocre at best

Not saying he was awful, but he was a stud on CEBE and merely really good irl. He had like 30 more FG attempts than the next player in ACC.
