Just PM or email Harvey and he'll post your pick when it's your turn.

EDIT: wait, maybe PM J-Rye? I don't know what's happening this draft. Does anyone have access to both division draft threads, guess that poses an issue.

Last I saw, someone needs to take control of the Coastal draft and I'm not sure which but either Harv or J-Rye is running the Atlantic draft.

RE: Draft/Waiver Lottery
J-Rye is running the Atlantic Draft. PM him if you know ahead of time if you're going to miss your pick.

tarheels15 is running the Coastal Draft. PM him if you know ahead of time if you're going to miss your pick.

These are separate drafts. Coastal guys are separate from Atlantic guys until after the draft.

Myself, EL, and DHC are all able to view both drafts because we're moderators(but we won't peak), but everyone else should only be able to see their Division's draft boards. Good luck.

When does the draft start? I know I usually miss a pick or two but I don't want it to be my first one.

I do. We're in the 3rd round, but it's a really competitive draft so far. Every team solid through 2 rounds

EL, slap some sense into your brother. He's naming players --multiple players-- that he thinks should be drafted soon.

So is Chris. I literally just had this debate and EL and Tar Heels said I'd throw a tantrum. Just taking cheap shots because I don't think that's okay?

This is why I thought this should have been nipped in the bud in the preseason.

Mine wasn't aimed as a cheap shot, knew you wouldn't be happy with the naming of guys. I don't care that much but would like to keep the comment thread from turning into a fight. Made a quick edit in the rules of the thread if that's alright.

RE: Draft/Waiver Lottery
There's gonna have to be a penalty next year I guess.

Two great reasons not to do it:
1) I've had players I thought had no chance to get back around to me actually do so. I.E. You're screwing yourself.
2) The coach after the next one may be hoping and praying that the named player manages to slip past just one more coach, but he didn't because you just alerted him. I.E. You're screwing other people.

RE: Draft/Waiver Lottery
To me, it's just common courtesy. With the first round of guys or more, it's no big deal. No one is under the radar. A couple rounds from now, I'll be pissed. We've never had this problem in the past. I can't remember any draft before this year having preseason "tips" or guys being named.

You guys are right. I over-stepped the line in the Draft Comment thread and have redacted my statement. I still believe the pre-season discussion was all on the up and up, but will acknowledge I went too far in the draft thread itself.

Sincere apologies.

I'm jealous of the Atlantic Draft. I see so many new posts. It seems like you guys are having so much fun. lol. This is like sitting on your porch alone drinking a beer and watching a keg party across the street. We've got 6 picks. six.

Yeah, but on the plus side this probably bodes well for our dominance of the division DHC. Buzz didn't even know the draft had started, even AFTER he had logged in. We may be on the porch watching the house party across the street, but Buzz and our other competition are passed out in the back yard after one too many Mt. Dews.

This. Atlantic has made some good picks. Twice I've had my #1 target slip well beyond where I thought they would go only to get picked literally right before my turn.

I heard SMU may appeal since the team looks strong right now. It's a sad statement that Syracuse is dictating when and how they'll get probated, UNC STILL hasn't been punished, and SMU - a team that HAS NEVER been relevant without cheating - is proactively planning how they can minimize the pain of their latest cheating efforts.

This^. And I think he can't coach 30% of the games or something like that too. I mean don't get me wrong...bring it down on them all but it's ridiculous how the NCAA handles everything. If you have clout, you get your way.
