(S7)Hello
Since we've expanded our league and are up to almost 16 coaches now, we may be able to garner enough interest in an ACC fantasy football league. Would you play? Not sure if Harv wants to be commish on that or not, if he doesn't I'll take over that position and maybe I can get some help (EL or J?) to help me run the league. I think we need to get a good head start to get things in place of there are enough coaches interested. I'd like to get at least 8-10 coaches. Let me know what you think boys.

RE: Hello
I'd strongly recommend only having a number of team equal to half the number of ACC teams. The QB position is the issue along with the goofy bye schedules. Second, you'd have to limit rosters to no more than 2 QBs.

I'd consider playing.

RE: Hello
If it were with the cebe regulars, I'd be up for it. Tried fantasy collage football on fantrax.com and it didn't have the same appeal.

RE: Hello
I'd say either first come first serve or lottery drawing. Champ stays in to defend title.

I agree with that.

RE: Hello
14 ACC teams + Notre Dame. Irish in or out?

That means a max of only 7 or 8 CEBE teams.

RE: Hello
I'd be interested but would want to see the format. Are we talking traditional fantasy starting one QB, 2 WR, 2rbs, 1 flex (RB/WR), 1 TE, 1 kicker and 1 defense/Special Teams?

RE: Hello
I'm open to whatever you all think is best. I've played fantasy football once in my life. So I would want to do it alongside some good numbers guys that know what they're doing. Whichever format, league size or whatever everyone wants to do. It's pretty obvious that I'd need some help from J, Chris, Nick or whoever.

you can set it up on fantrax.com and we wouldn't have to manage it here. We could always keep a discussion about it over here, but no need to run it manually

We could set it up with the ACC conference only?

Yeah. Fantrax is very capable, but it's the opposite of user friendly

I did one last year with a bunch of Gator fans and we just did the whole NCAA. I'd suggest going that route or adding a conference to go with the ACC.

RE: Hello
If we go beyond 8 fantasy teams, then I agree we ought to expand to two conferences. Maybe ACC and SEC.

RE: Hello
I'm out if we're adding another conference. Nothing against it; just not too interested in following another conference. And having to endure constant public blowjobs of the SEC by ESPN, Verne Lundquist, et al.

RE: Hello
The biggest benefit to the SEC is that most of the games are televised. Unlike basketball, I can hardly watch a football game I don't have a rooting interest in. This would give me a reason to know more of the national landscape.

If you all have too many I will be out. I am in a few NFL fantasy football leagues every year so I am pretty nerded out already during football season.

Yeah I'm not feeling the whole Fantrax thing. If it's homemade like the CEBE then I'm in, otherwise I'll pass.
