Folks, it's on.
Round 2 has begun, and while only one game has officially started, all four have numbers worthy of inspection. The Fuglys have a short lead over the Wheats at the moment and every other game has been tipped, if only to one side.

Russ Smith opened things up nicely for his FreeBallers, the Dominators' duo of Allen and Egbunu disappointed, and the Buzz's Cardinal Connection impressed.
The Dozen, Shooters, and Hothot will make their presence known tonight...

Be sure and refresh this page every day for an updated scoresheet!

UGh I don't know about that. Kennedy didn't do anything and neither did Knowles. I think this is going to be a battle.

Mack and Jack for Rutgers singlehandedly shoot them out of every game. Here is a novel idea, pass to other people! #bitterthatJudgegetsnotouchesnow

You're bitter? Jerome Seagears must've thrown a ball at Eddie Jordan's face during practice last month b/c he's getting almost no PT at all now. He should be their 3rd best player. Whatever.

Pepper and Decosey are a combined 4/25 from the field. No wonder they suck dick. This is a consistent problem.

RE: Round 2 Results
Round 2 Results are up after Thursday night's action!

The defending champion and #1 FreeBallers have opened their quest for a repeat against Diggler's Dozen and it's alllll Ballers. This one is getting out of hand early but with three categories still workable for the underdogs, a lack of focus by the champs could make it interesting.

Our 4/5 game between the Doms and Shooters is likely to be a little more suspenseful than Game 1. These two are currently tied with seven games in hand for both teams. TaShawn Thomas has returned to mid-season form for the Doms but the Shooters are doing enough to keep it tight.

The 2nd-seeded Fuglys have rode the big game of Victor Rudd into a very slim 4-1 lead over the surging Dejuan Wheats. Four of the five categories are incredibly close and this game could quickly swing either way and then back again. This has been a well played tournament game.

In fits and starts the 3rd-seeded Needabuzz team is trying to pull away from a stubborn Hothot team but it's merely a tighter-than-expected 3-2 lead. Each team has taken turns showing flashes of brilliance(Rozier, House) only to mystify with clunkers(Kennedy, Seagears/Watson).

We're barely into the second half and all four games are still in doubt. Good luck and get those banners!

Zero AAC games tonight...
Zero.

Three huge games tomorrow...
Louisville at Cincinnati(12pm)
UCF at Houston(2pm)
Temple at Memphis(9:30pm)

You left out Kasey Wilson on the clunkers. HOW DARE YOU.

Surprised this matchup is still close b/t Buzz & Team hothot, that type of Kilpatrick (all-scoring & little else) line vs. Louisville is what I need to survive, but hard to see Kennedy throwing back-to-back shitfests.

Seagers and Watson didn't help you but there are close categories and you are currently up in two so this could still go either way. The UL players need to step up tomorrow for me to win this one. I need that and Kilpatrick to be the only UC player to score because I want the Cards to win.

The way it looks now, Rudd's big game will be the reason I lose. But, I posted my final four lineup because I am slightly confident in winning.

The bad news for you, Russell and Moore are free throw all stars....so I feel free throws and Assists are a lock. It will come down to Defense like I mentioned before the week began.

Getting what I need out of the UCF-Houston game so far--FTs & Defense. That combined with only 4 assists between Buzz's Hancock, Kilpatrick, Harrell and Rozier? This will be close. Assuming Joe Jackson hits his averages, Buzz will need a big effort from Kennedy on Sunday.

RE: Round 2 Results
Yeah maybe the pessimism motivated team hothot. My guys who put up clunkers in their first game this week have been steadily regressing the last few games so I didn't think they'd get enough minutes to compete. My SOS luck strikes again. Without having added it up or checked, feels like my team is putting up an uncharacteristically high defense total.

Yeah I'm conceding points now. If your Nic(k)s are anywhere remotely close to their averages you'll win points. I'll win rebounds so it's going to come down to the other three categories. I'm feeling good about assists and you should win defense... I think it's going to come down to free throws.

About to put up Results.

RE: Round 2 Results
New Results are up after Saturday's action-packed basketball bonanza! And all we have left today is the final AAC game of the week, SMU at Connecticut at 2pm EST.

The FreeBallers are just putting the finishing touches on their Round 2 game versus the Dozen. The defending champs currently hold a 4-1 lead that looks all but insurmountable. Quality free throw shooting from Ryan Boatright could make it a sweep.

The Dominators are in the clubhouse, finished in Round 2 with a 4-1 lead over the Shooters. The 5th seed is waiting to see what they get from DeAndre Daniels and Niels Giffey today. If they can combine for 8 assists or 6 defense they'll likely pull the upset.

The 2/7 matchup has been a great game from the get-go. The Fuglys have led the whole way but are unable to pull away. The Wheats will likely win two categories and the Fuglys will likely win two categories. Which team will be able to focus from the stripe?

Needabuzz is clinging to a 3-2 lead over the Hothot and both teams have just one player left to take the floor. Markus Kennedy and Amida Brimah will go head to head at 2pm today and the Hothot will need a special performance from Brimah to move on.

Good luck everybody. I'll try and get Final Results up tonight around 8ish. Don't forget to get your FF Lineups in.

Fouls called on Brimah & Kennedy, followed by a blocked shot for Brimah before hitting the bench--all in the first 3 minutes. Living dangerously.

Still no score 4 minutes in.

A long shot but I'm not out yet. If I can get big rebounding numbers out of my forwards, enough assists, and maintain my ft percent, All while boatright has a less than stellar performance, I could very well make this a big upset. Need the perfect storm.
