Harv makes up 50% of my hockey friends. I really need more. I can see why its hard for people to get into it but even if you dont like it, its worth giving a chance to watch in person. This is the best time to start watching. Guys playing a series and tempers start building and fights are going down like crazy. I remember watching this and getting so into it yelling at the tv.

I'm always a basketball guy but the NHL has the best, most intense playoffs there is. Faster than basketball, bigger hits than football and these guys actually give 100% every minute of every game.

Absolutely. The energy is crazy. I dont see how they can have enough stamina for a playoff or a series for that matter. Has to be one of the most physical sports there is. and i love seeing the saves. Seems like the goalies have the most amazing saves postseason.

I only watch hockey highlights for the fighting......... because boxing has fallen off the map.

I don't care much for 140 lb guys hitting each other, Mayweather fights are boring, once he loses maybe I'd be interested.
What happened to the heavyweight division?

I'd even settle for a Tyson off his meds comeback. At least it would be worth watching.

Well now is the time for fights to start picking up. Watched the Colorado vs Minnesota game and there were atleast 10 attempts to fight but the refs stopped. By game 3 of a 7 game series, these things turn into 5 on 5 brawls.

Intensity already up from game 1 of blues vs hawks. Not even halfway through the first and chicago has received 2 power plays. Blues need to watch those penalties.

Well the Blues blew a two game lead. Back at St. Louis tomorrow. Hope they can win it in 6. My nerves can't take it coming down to a win or go home game 7 situation.

I used to play a lot of NHL '97 on the Sega Genesis. I liked playing with the Phoenix Coyotes. I like Jeremy Roenick, Patrick Roy, Jagr. I didn't like that you couldn't control when you got in a fight. There should be at least one fight per game.
