Sens are in! Last spot will go to either Pittsburgh or Boston. If the Penguins win they're in. Boston needs Pittsburgh to get less than two points, and they have to beat the Bolts.

Habs down 2-1 after 1, Pens scoreless after 1, and the Bolts are tied at zero with the Bruins halfway through the first. It's been intense.

lmao I hadn't noticed until the announcers pointed it out but the ice already says 'Stanley Cup Playoffs' real big in both zones. Apparently, Boston didn't care for it. Big Grin

It's gonna be the Wings versus the Nings. I gotta say I'm glad we avoided the Senators in Round 1.

Glad steen and tarasenko got a game in before playoffs started. Best time of year man. By the way, did you see the goal Matt O'Connor gave up last night in the ncaa hockey championship game?

I didn't see the game live, but I saw a replay of the last few minutes of the game, which was after that happened. The announcers were talking about it, but I never saw it. Man, just like Barry said, just when you thought you saw everything.

I have the Bolts taking out the Wings in five. In fact, I like the Bolts all the way. That Habs Sens match-up should be good. They really don't like each other.

Came here to see you guys talking 2OT hockey, but apparently y'all are in bed? This is not how you playoff hockey. Nashville just played a Nickleback song, so they deserve to lose this.

Oh and I've got the Rangers over the Hawks for the Cup. Can I call it the "Cup"? I haven't watched a single minute of live hockey this season.

yeah, same here, and we have the extra sports package, but you can use this streaming site: http://www.gofeed2all.eu/type/ice-hockey.html. I think nbcsn is the only American sports channel we don't get on DirecTV; don't understand why it isn't included in the first 3 or 4 tiers of packages.

Yeah. Pretty crazy. You'd think it would be a basic channel offered or at least in the deluxe package and above.

They even showed the freaking all-star game on nbcsn, wth.

Also, never bet on the Caps to do anything at all as long as Ovechkin is there. They should have traded his ass years ago. I've got the Isles handling them. Smile

RE: Hockey talk
P.K. Subban is the early story of the playoffs so far because of his tomahawk slash on Ottawa's great rookie Mark Stone. He got a game misconduct and it was announced that he would receive no further punishment from the league.

The announcers here don't like the call but it was a pretty violent chop imo. It was away from the play, Stone was skating away from Subban and it was a clear, two-handed chop right on the hands for no good reason. Oh yeah, he broke Stone's wrist and he's unlikely to play anytime soon. :/

Subban should get a real warm welcome in Ottawa.

0-7 on the PP and 44 shots. I can't imagine that game happens again on Saturday, and if it does, we're swept.

No sweep. Wings true colors show Saturday. Goaltending can't hold, we can't score. Going back to Detroit tied, though, they did their job.

It's just funny how that guy could not walk into any store or public area in the State of Michigan and not be recognized, and you show that picture around here and most people would not have a clue who it was.
