The two you added were to SMU and Green was dropped from Temple. Tongue
The roster is perfect though, thanks again.

Whoa. I have an objection. I get the "6'9" thing. But Rick has already said that Trez will be playing the 5. He is not center eligible. Let's apply the common sense rule here. He should definitely be F/C. If we see a lineup that starts Trez and Chane or plays a lot of them together, he's playing the 5 regardless of what he measures. Would Ellis Myles not have been center eligible?

Sorry DHC, that's why I posted the unofficial roster well in advance. I can't keep up with all 10 teams and make subjective judgments on positions. We even talked about Trez specifically in that thread and decided he'd stay a forward. I don't want to screw anyone up now that I've made the roster official. You know someone will get pissed if Trez is drafted as a F/C when they downloaded the roster that has him listed as forward only.

From the OP:
"This means Montrez Harrell is NOT center eligible (listed as 6'8 forward only). We could make subjective decisions about situations like this, but they need to be posted and agreed to in this thread before I release the official roster."

RE: Official 2013-14 CEAAC Roster
Must have somehow skimmed over that? I do see it now. Until this "Official roster" was posted I thought that the preseason roster was "THE roster", so I didn't feel the need to look for any discretionary positions yet. Obviously you guys make the rules around here but to be frank, we are 4 days away from the first pick of the draft and if that's not enough time for people to wrap their head around the fact the Trez is eligible as a center (or enough time for them to check in here and at least see that it's up for vote), then I don't think they have a right to be mad. I mean I obviously have no vested interest, I just thought Trez being F/C was a given.

...Tyler Olander will probably start for a team.

RE: Official 2013-14 CEAAC Roster
Harv makes the rules. I just help where needed, so it's up to him if he'd like to make Trez center elligibile at this point. There are a few other players that don't quite matchup with their location on the court. I.E. Hancock is listed as forward only, despite having twice as many 3pt attempts vs 2pt attempts last year. Those are just 2 examples from Louisville's roster, and every other team has the same issue.

RE: Official 2013-14 CEAAC Roster
I thought the same about Luke as well but wasn't as worried with as many guards are available. I thought if Wayne was G/F, Luke should be too. And I'm not trying to be a douche, I honestly didn't read over the positions until last night. And I'd say I'm on par or ahead of most. I had all stats listed for all players listed the first night the preseason roster was released. I just think that as usual we are short on quality centers as usual and any person that we know will be playing that position in RL, should be eligible.

FWIW, Rick "said" today that SVT will start at 5 but Chane and Trez will most likely finish.

RE: Official 2013-14 CEAAC Roster
I'm with you DHC. I'm not opposed to making Trez a center, I just don't want to confuse anyone. Since SVT and Mathiang are center eligibile, I wasn't too concerned about Trez.

If Harv is good with it, I'll just make another thread titled "MONTREZ HARRELL IS CENTER ELIGIBLE"

that ought to avoid any confusion lol

RE: Official 2013-14 CEAAC Roster
So you've got me all distracted at work now, haha. In order to make this league more enjoyable, I'll add 4 centers that might play the 5 spot in their team's rotation. If I don't add them, people are going to hate their team more than they already will.

Those are game changer additions to the C position, IMO. Now coaches aren't going to be fighting to snatch Olander because some doucher decided to take Zanna AND Dieng....errr what? Lol.

well he has a 63 inch vertical, so that compensates for the 5'7 stature

I was hoping Mudiay would slip under the radar. A JUCO transfer that averaged 2 points a game is the kind of anchor the Dominators needed for their back court. Now he's just another hot commodity.
