Lol I just thought the exact...opposite.

Even with Louisville out I think we see 3-4 teams in the sweet 16.

I mean depending on the matchup maybe..but Duke is terrible, just play defense and score some they lose...same with NC, they both can only outscore an opponent. I think Virginia will make it furthest from the acc, unless they turn into the can't make anything team we see on occasion

As if my team couldn't suck any worse....Newton didn't even play. Posted some cryptic shit on twitter about it being God's hands. Fuck this season in it's fucking ass.

Duke, UNC, UVA, Miami should all coast to a sweet 16. And a couple others are capable with the right draw. No way we don't get at least 3 in the sweet 16. UNC and senile Roy could get bounced at any time after that. Those could all potentially end up top 4 seeds. Just because we're beating ourselves up in conference doesn't mean we aren't any good. Let Duke and UNC lock up with an SEC chump in the second round...

I would take Florida against both...might actually get UNC if we make it. The ACC doesn't play defense minus 2 teams and Duke UNC are a a 2 man team and a 1 man team...1 team has no guards and the other no big men. Duke at full strength already lost to UK...so minus 2 starters I know how that will go

Lol didn't UK put 20 on florida? Didn't Florida lose to FSU? Billy Donovan is not there anymore. UF will not see a sweet 16. They're 1-5 against ranked teams. (0-2 VS the ACC) They're also very capable of dropping three more games in UK, South Carolina and LSU which would put them squarely on the bubble as a 12 loss SEC team. Florida needs to worry about getting their name called before they start advancing further than likely top 4 seeds.

I never said they would go further than the acc teams...I would take them if they played now though. Also...Florida lost the majority, I think 6 games on the road Duke and UNC played a combined 0 road games in the non conference.. Louisville 1?...Florida's SOS blows the ACC out of the water.

SOS means.....nothing if you're 1-5. And I just gave you an example of an ACC outlier (Syracuse) who has played the same number of ranked opponents as florida. Except they're 4-2.

SOS means a lot, especially when it comes to making the tourney. Looking at records against just top 25 is flawed.

If I took out Mich St, Purdue, Miami, and FSU...Florida would only have 5 losses and still have a SOS as good as many of the ACC teams maybe still tougher.

Oh really? LOL. Whatever you think man. Oh, by the way...just so you know, the committee won't be taking out of consideration the only games they played VS teams that are worth a shit. They'd be a middle of the pack ACC team. Hell, what am I saying...they are a middle of the pack SEC team.

I'll say it again..SOS means nothing if you aren't winning the games. Otherwise people would swoon over wake forest. They've played 9 games against the top 25. With two more left.

Done arguing with you. Florida is a bubble team. They take care of their business against weak teams and they have one marquee win in WVU. And several bad losses between losses to unranked teams and by 10-19 points against ranked teams on three different occasions. Don't throw stones when the SEC is junk and Florida is soft.

You can believe what u want...I never said Florida is better....just that I would take them on a neutral site vs Duke and UNC. Florida is toward the bubble and I never said otherwise. It seems you make up arguments just to argue.

They're not better, but you think they would beat Duke and UNC on a netural court? A UNC team that, while struggling at the moment, is easily the most talented roster in the country this season.

This seems like talking out of both sides of your mouth.

RE: Round 1 Results
To be clear, Florida COULD beat those teams. I'm cognizant enough regarding this insane season to see that any team with even a single talented player could knock off just about anyone in the country, even the Oklahomas, UNC's, and Iowas of the world. In fact, 3 teams did just that last night (Duke being the only one of the victors who is worth even a remote damn this year). But the stark reality is that UNC and Duke have far more talented rosters and better coaches, even if Roy is trying his darnedest to tarnish his coaching legacy. A Florida victory over either of those programs would be an upset, plain and simple. This isn't 2007.

I'm not saying Florida is a great team...or even good at times. But I think both Duke and UNC are horribly flawed and can not be exposed by anyone in the ACC. 8 seeds beat 1 seeds...I believe a defensive minded Florida team who just needs a competent offense would beat both of these teams on a neutral site. As a team over the season they both are better (imo part is due to scheduling). Florida is a wildcard almost every game due to their shooting (which can be matched by a few ACC teams). I think Florida matches up well with both teams

Apologies for the problems I'm causing. If I somehow make it to the Final Four, it won't happen again. We're not attempting to travel through snowstorms this weekend.

And you're spot on about the results, KC. Points and free throws are already yours, it isn't even in question. I feel OK about the other three categories, but don't think I have anything clearly locked up in the same way you do. I need another big game from Crawford and/or Berry to remember he's a top 5 steals guy in this league. He completely disappeared last night, though the Grayson Allen phantom whistle got him and he never rediscovered his rhythm or aggressiveness on D.

Pretty sure Rebounds, and Assists are yours. Think I am going to get Points and FT%. If the cuse games from last night count have you winning assists, and rebounds handily. I have an ok lead in points, and FT% I have defense as 10-8 but the games played were 7-5 in favor of you.

The thing is, you make ridiculous comments to start the argument.

"no acc team will make the sweet 16 this year"
--- maybe this was a joke?

"Duke is terrible, just play defense and score some they lose...same with NC"
--- what a thought provoking insight on how to beat a couple top 20 teams

"[Duke and UNC] both can only outscore an opponent"
--- UNC is 35th nationally in defensive efficiency

"Duke UNC are a a 2 man team and a 1 man team"
--- Since when is having legit stars on your team considered a bad thing? UNC is deeeeep

"Duke and UNC played a combined 0 road games in the non conference.. Louisville 1?...Florida's SOS blows the ACC out of the water"
--- Florida SOS #9 ... Duke SOS #12 - is 3 spots a major difference? Louisville played @MSU and @UK

"If I took out Mich St, Purdue, Miami, and FSU...Florida would only have 5 losses and still have a SOS as good as many of the ACC teams maybe still tougher"
--- That leaves you with 5 losses against West Virginia and whatever mediocre/bad teams exist in the SEC outisde of UK and A&M. No chance that is tougher than any team in the ACC

I'm not trying to pick apart every post you make, but if you're wondering why people like to argue with you, it's because you're taking cheap shots at a conference superior to the SEC using exaggerated comments with no facts to back them up.

Well I'm getting beat down....I honestly don't see how I can win 1 category, let alone 3.

Solid season, and a nice run to finish in the top half. We would all be getting beat down by the Guardians this week

If the cuse games from last night count have you winning assists, and rebounds handily. I have an ok lead in points, and FT% I have defense as 10-8 but the games played were 7-5 in favor of you.

You wound up with 8 D? Damn, how did that happen? I know Paige got 3 blocks (GTFO), but the rest of your guys weren't doing anything that I saw.
Grayson got two steals, Paige three blocks, McClellan steal, and Georges Hunt block
